Herbaland was proud to be the presenting sponsor of the 2019 Little Black Dress Gala, benefitting Help Change My City Alliance.
"At Herbaland, giving back has always been at the heart of our business. When we met the Help Change My City team, and learned about the work they were doing, we knew we needed to be a part of it," explained Heidi Volpov, Herbaland's company representative.
The Little Black Dress Gala is an elegant intersection of philanthropy, the arts, education, fashion, and support for the underprivileged youth that have the potential to shape our beautiful city. The Gala showcases established artists, designers and musicians, while providing young and budding local talent the opportunity to show their work. The Gala is further marked by its multicultural inclusivity and sincere celebration of the diverse beauty of the Metro Vancouver community.
Youth and women are the primary focus of the Little Black Dress Gala, with proceeds going to support Help Change My City Alliance (HCMC Alliance). HCMC Alliance provides mentorship to troubled and underprivileged youth in the Vancouver community, helps them find employment, and gives post-secondary bursaries to those youth who have overcome challenging circumstances and want to go on to higher education.
"This was an amazing event for us to showcase our Pure Beauty gummies and our believe that beauty starts inside. It starts with health, with self-care, but beauty is also about giving back, and being kind," said Volpov.
Herbaland was able to give back as the proud presenting sponsor of this event, which was successful in raising funds for the HCMC Alliance. Herbaland was also able to provide a bursary for a young woman who is making positive contributions to the Vancouver community.
We were also able to work with two amazing local fashion designers - Yifat Jovani and Daria Volokhova - who incorporated Herbaland's Pure Beauty gummies into their stunning fashions.
"Coming away from this event, we really hope that other corporations will be inspired to make meaningful contributions to our community," explained Volpov. "Herbaland wants to ignite the heart of giving in our community."
